Chocolate peanut butter cups
I'm a big fan of sweets, everywhere I go I'm trying new treats. I
remember first time when I came to UK and found Reese's cups! OMG that
was something completely new for me and so delicious! I could eat 3 at
once! Of course that time I wasn't a big fun of healthy eating and
calories didn't matter to me. When I came back to Poland I was looking
for them but couldn't find them anywhere. After few year I found them in
on of the stores with the food from all around the world. How happy I
was!! I restricted myself to have only one in a while, because I saw the
amount of the calories, I red the ingredients, and I was more aware of
food.I thought why not to make them at home ? First of all they will be cheap to make ( one cup cost about 5 zl and in India is around 300 Rs, which is something around 12 zl) Secondly , I am making them so I exactly know what's in it. And thirdly I can make them whenever I want and have them whenever I feel like :) The recipe is very easy and with this amount you will get about 8 cups. I used two sizes of cupcakes molds.
You will need:
1 2/3 cup dark chocolate or chocolate chips
4 Tb sp coconut oil - 2 for chocolate and 2 for peanut butter
1 Tb sp peanut butter- you can use also homemade butter
8 cupcakes molds
1 2/3 cup dark chocolate or chocolate chips
4 Tb sp coconut oil - 2 for chocolate and 2 for peanut butter
1 Tb sp peanut butter- you can use also homemade butter
8 cupcakes molds
First
chop the chocolate add coconut oil and microwave for 45 seconds. Put 1
Tb sp of chocolate in each mold and place in a freezer for 15 minutes.
Prepare peanut butter layer. Melt pb with oil in microwave for 20
seconds and pour 1 Tb sp in each mold, put in a freezer for 10 minutes.
After that time take them out and place the second layer of dark
chocolate on a top. Again place them in freezer. After 30 minutes they
are ready .
