Sweet bricks and balls.
I'm foodie person! I really enjoy eating and I am sweet-tooth
person. What can I do? I really like sweets and can not imagine my life
without them. All that challenges to try not to have sweets for a week
or 30 days are not for me. But it does not mean that I can eat all
package of cookies alone and I'll be fine. No, of course not , but
sometimes my craving is so big and so hard to control that I becoming a
sweet monster and having everything what is covered in chocolate or at
least is sweet enough to satisfied me . But why do
I need all that sweets? and why my sweetocholic monster wins? Mostly this happens when I don't have big meal, or when my lunch is less in carbs or when I'm bored, or when I had something salty and spicy and quickly have to change my taste, which happens to me very often since I'm in India ;) So when I don't have anything homemade and I'm lazy to make something it's easier for me to take treats from our "sweet drawer" and believe me we have a lot in there. However when I finally decide to make something sweet it has to be really good and satisfying. So today I made those delicious balls and squares. They are sweet, soft, a bit gooey and believe me will kill your monster straight away.

To make 14 you need:
26 dates without pits
3 tsp peanut powder
1 Tb sp coconut oil
2 Tb sp cocoa powder
5 Tb sp oats
1 small bowl with coconut flakes
1 small bowl with cocoa powder or in my case protein powder
Soak dates for 2 hours in warm water, then pitted them. Peanut powder you can make at home, just blend roasted peanuts. Put all ingredients in food processor and blend everything together until you have nice thick mass. Wet your hands and form nice small balls, the size is up to you. Coated each ball in protein powder or coconut flakes. Put in the freezer for 30 minutes, then place them in metal or plastic container and keep in fridge. They will be good for next 5 days unless you eat them all in first 2 day !
